Raspberry Chia Smoothie

My Raspberry Chia Smoothie (that's ever so creamy) is a great portable nutritious snack or breakfast for mums to be, moms to be and mums and moms on the go. Raspberries are GEMS for strengthening the connective tissue at your midline to help improve diastasis recti and the appearance of your tummy. Thanks to their vitamin C content they will also help give you luscious hair and glowing skin. The chia seeds in this smoothie are rich in omega 3's and are a complete protein crucial for healthy skin, shiny hair and strong nails during pregnancy, post baby and beyond. Your kids will love this too!

1 banana
1 tablespoon of greek yogurt or soya yogurt (for dairy free version)
1 tablespoon of almond milk
1 and half cups of raspberries (can be frozen)
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup of water (more or less depending on how creamy you'd like your smoothie)
2 teaspoons of chia seeds
2 teaspoons of maple syrup (or honey)

Blend all ingredients together in a blender.
